We are looking at expanding some of the capabilities of MYOB but found that none of the official partner applications met our requirements.
Is it possible for us to link the MYOB AccountRight API to an existing external application free of charge?

I could write a very long reply about using the API but the question seems to suggest an understanding in how it all works .... having said that, once you jump through all the hoops to become a developer and hook into the API and link it to your app - directly there is no cost and it also depends on your status as a member.
It is complex and I suggest you read up on the process --- via https://developer.myob.com/
There actually is no such thing as 'linking your app to the api' as though you are linking a caravan and hence up for a cost.

I know its not as simple as plug-in but ready to trial-and-error my way there (just working on this first step for now).
I had thought that it was free but on the register page, to get access to developer rights/API the minimum fee was about $100 a month. Is there a way for me to bypass this fee?
