Identifying Combined Accounts

I’m looking for a reliable way to detect (via the AccountRight API) when users have used the Combine Accounts functionality.

Our app stores synchronised transaction data and typically updates based on recent changes. However, when accounts are combined, we need to refresh all related transactions—so identifying that event is crucial.

Has anyone found a clean way to detect this? I’ve considered manually checking for removed accounts and then trying to infer a Combine event by analysing historical data, but I’m hoping there’s a more elegant or supported approach.

Open to any ideas, workarounds, or API quirks you’ve discovered!
