business change of name and operations

We have started a new business under the same abn, so i have created a new myob account as of the 1/7/2025.  I cannot seem to set up stp payroll for this, how do i do that?  I have been entering and recording payroll since 1/7/25 but none of this has been linked to the stp, is this an issue?

 

Also I would like to set up my myob programme on an apple mac so that i can now work from home, how do i do this please?

    Hi CCStairs, 

     

    It's possible you missed doing the STP setup first. I recommend following the steps outlined on the "Setting up Single Touch Payroll Reporting" article to get your STP rolling. 

     

    As for your second question, there is no desktop version of the software for Apple Mac. If you need to access your file from a Mac computer, you can either access it through a web browser on app.myob.com or install it in a Windows virtual environment, such as Parallels.
