Client Accounting - Assets reporting

1. There is the option to add a location for the asset, but there is no report which provides to view/print by location.

2. The ATO allows full temporary expensing from 06 October 2020 to 30 June 2022. Does Assets allow for this, as our client who has a year end of 31 December still has closing balance in the SB pool?

    We appreciate your enquiry.

     

    In response:

     

    1) Not possible - Unfortunately at this point in time there is no option or report which provides to view/print by location for assets.

     

    2)Assets does not allow for temporary expensing at the moment. Our product development team has advised this may be something they will look towards building in/implementing into the software the near future.

    For Location you do have the option of adding the Location column. You can then group on that column by dragging it to the grey bar at the top. That allows you to group the display by this. You can export this grouped list to Excel by using the export to Excel button on the left (it's the folder icon). So not a report but might be close to what you're looking for.
