Client Accounting - Create PDF

In MYOB AE Client Accounting when we finish a job we perform the 'Create PDF' function. However this is now giving the following messages:

'One or more documents couldn't be converted to PDF. See Documents not converted to PDF at the end of your report for details'.

 

This error comes after MYOB AE 2020 update.  We have contacted MYOB support 3 times on this.  MYOB support keep saying many practices have reported this problem and unable to resolve it at this stage.  

 

Does anyone have any solution to fix this problem?

    We had a similar issue where we couldn't print to PDF.  I haven't come accross the "One or more documents couldn't be converted to PDF. " error, but some staff did before running the setup again.

     

    I can confirm the setup here fixed our issue, but it only fixed it for whichever user ran it.

    \\SQLSERVERNAME\centralclient\setup.exe

    (You need to replace "SQLSERVERNAME" with the name of your SQL server)

    Mark,

     

    I can't find the file \\ServerName\MYOBAE\AESQL\WorkstationInstall.

     

    I even search the file name "WorkstationInstall" within server computer and no result comes out.

    Hi Albert,

     

    The MYOBAE and AESQL folder should be on your server drive.

     

    You can also check for the installed location under Help > About > Application details within the program.

    Mark,

     

    I can only find MYOBAE folder but not AESQL or WorkstationInstall subfolder.

     

    From Tax Help>About>Application details -

    Release date: 3rd September 2020

    Database location: S6:\\SERVER\MSSQL\AETAX2

    From Account Help>About> Application details -

    Installed Location: S:\Sol64\bin\

    Database Location: S:\Data\

    License: 21420127

    Workstation: SERVER

    Available Memory: 2047 MB

     

    There is no AESQL or WorkstationInstall subfolder under MYOBAE\SOL64 either.

    Hi Albert,

     

    Can you try the following file please:

     

    \\servername\central client\setup.exe
     
    Also, make sure Adobe PDF is the default PDF reader.

    I search the whole C drive and there is no such folder - "Central Client".

    MYOB support remoted to my computer couple times and no luck to resolve this problem.

    Hi Albert,

     

    If you are a Series site, the setup.exe file will be in the folder MYOB\Setup on the netform drive.
