Thanks so much for your response Syed.
I called the ATO last week and also checked the ATO portal. They confirmed they have not received anything from their end and will escalate the matter.
Have you had any clients with similar issues in the past and would you mind advising if they managed to resolve this issue through some other avenues as the ATO advised they were not aware of this issue. So this does not provide too much comfort that this will be actioned anytime soon!
