MYOB AE Tax - Lodgement Error CMN.ATO.GEN.XML04

Hi,

I am receiving the following error code on lodgement of a 2020 Tax Return: CMN.ATO.GEN.XML04.

Summary: A mandatory field has not been completed.

Details: The element 'Dividends' in namespace 'http://www.sbr.gov.au/ato/incdtls' has incomplete content. List of possible element expected: 'AddressDetailsCountryC, DividendTotal' in namespace 'http://www.sbr.gov.au/ato/incdtls'. Hint: while processing parent element [Dividends] child mandatory element [DividendTotal] was not found.

I cannot see where this error is. I have entered Company name, # of account holders, country of residence, share account, and dividend totals. Can you please assist?

Many thanks

    Hi Leighroy,

We were able to fix the issue by deleting the dividend schedule completely and then re-entering. Appears as though this bug appeared after an update.

    Hi Cameron01

    Thank you for your post.

Can you please check for me if the # of account holders field has a value of 1 or greater? If this value is zero, this could be the reason to why you would be receiving this error.
