Hi AV2,
Totally get that if the bank feeds came in a few hours earlier, it’d save you a heap of time.
Just to explain what’s going on behind the scenes:
ANZ (and the other banks) control when the data is sent. They bundle up your transactions in an overnight file and send it to MYOB once they’ve finished their own processing. That send time isn’t fixed, and Tuesdays are often a bit later and heavier because they include the weekend plus Monday’s transactions.
Once ANZ’s file arrives with us, our bank feeds service retrieves it from a queue, processes the entire batch, and then pushes it into AccountRight. On light days, which can appear nice and early, but on busy days (especially Tuesdays), there’s more to process, so the feeds can land later in the morning or early afternoon instead of around 6 am.
Regards,
Genreve
Hi Genreve
This is just an accoutright issue and anz, all bank feeds for xero come in around 4am and qbo around 9AM. This never used to happen with accountright, bank feeds used to come through around the 6am time.
This system is getting slower and slower, I am considering changing my client to xero, then I wouldn't have to pay my employee for sitting around and doing nothing waiting for bank feeds to come through. This is now happening on a daily basis and it is getting worse. MYOB need to fix this issue asap

Hi AV2
We have a board dedicated to bank feeds including lots of common questions and notifications of any known delays.
Regarding the time they are delivered, this can happen anytime during the day.
We work hard to ensure that the data is sent as early as possible in the day, but there are variables at play such as what time we receive the data from the bank and how large the files are.
For example, when transactions are expected on a Tuesday, although they may regularly arrive at 6am, they can arrive at anytime during that business day.- SerenaW1 month agoContributing User
Thanks for that Mike, however MYOB bank feeds used to come early in the morning and now its afternoon, and has been for some time now, or very late morning. You have changed something somehow and I know a few bookkeepers that are now dissatisfied with MYOB, due to this issue and the slowness of the sysytem.
If MYOB can't provde what we used to have, you will be losing a lot of customers as we rely solely on bank feeds to complete our tasks within our business.
Maybe your board that is dedicated to bank feeds can ask the banks the question of why MYOB bank feeds are the last bank feeds to show up everyday and resolve the issue.
I pay my employee to sit around waiting for the bank feeds to happen, it is time wasting and not cost effective for my business at all. Maybe i should charge MYOB for the time we reload constantly all morning and afternoon. I am getting very dissatisfied with MYOB, other systems now have direct real time bank feeds, is this something MYOB is looking at doing?

Hi SerenaW , thanks for the feedback and explanation of the impact on your business.
Although I can confirm that nothing has changed in our processes, on some occasions there may be delays with receiving data from banks, this then causes the processing of data to take longer.
If you continue to have this issue, please lodge a support ticket and we can investigate if this is an issue unique to your file or multiple files. Generally, you should be receiving feeds by 11am.
Our team are busy working on bringing Open Banking (what you have referred to as 'direct real time bank feeds') to MYOB, this will increase the reliability of bank feed data, as well as change delivery of data to twice a day for major banks, rather than once a day. This will be coming to MYOB in 2026.
