Reconciling - weird out of balance issue

Absolutely, it’s a situation many people encounter, when everything seems like it should balance, but the figures just don’t quite align. You’ve already reviewed the transactions, which is a great first step. I’d suggest having a look at our Fixing out of balance bank reconciliations page for some extra tips on sorting this out.

I am having the same issue big time. No here has been able to help, had the same lame response as you gave this lady. Ever since the upgrade in March 2025, My bank recons have been out big time, same as above. My recon window says reconciled, but the reports are way out. Even entering contra journal entries to help balance does not help.
It doesn't reconcile the outstanding deposits. See Screenshot. I have tried everything under the sun to fix it. It's a Myob internal glitch. No one wants to know about it or even try to fix it. i am in the process of migrating to QB, as I can no longer run my business through myob, as my P&L etc is way out. I posted the other day, only had 1 response and that didn't help.
and why are having upgrades installed every few hours????? yet nothing gets fixed. 28 years with this company, I can't do it anymore

Thanks so much for sticking with us for 28 years, that’s huge, and we're really sorry you’ve had to deal with this. We’d never want you to go through all this trouble reconciling, and it totally makes sense you’re considering QB if you can’t confidently rely on your numbers. You’ve already done a lot trying to fix the out-of-balance reconciliation. At this point, it needs a closer look, going through each transaction and matching it with your bank statement. The best place to start is finding the last month that actually balanced. Undo the reconciliations month by month until you get back to that balanced point, then work forward carefully.
