Exporting GL transactions details report to excel not working

I often run GL transaction detail reports and export them to excel. This is not working today. Nothing at all happens.

 

Even if I display the report first, it still won't export.

 

Same problem with exporting the aged payables summary.

 

I'm running accountright 2026.2.1.12

    Hi ChrisJR

     

    The reports do sound a bit finicky on your end. I’ve checked, and there aren’t any known issues showing up right now, so let’s try a few quick things:

    • Restart AccountRight, then try exporting the GL Transaction Detail report again.
    • If nothing happens, go to Setup > Preferences > Reports & Forms and check that “Allow export of reports to Excel” is ticked.
    • Close AccountRight, then reboot your computer and try the export again.
    • If it’s still not working, try running AccountRight as Administrator (right-click the AccountRight icon > Run as administrator) and test the export.

    If the reports are still behaving the same way after that, it’s best to have our support team take a closer look. You can log a ticket via My Account, or chat with them through MOCA, our virtual assistant, and they'll help you from there.

    Hi Genreve,

     

    I’ve rebooted computer and restarted it. No change.

     

    Looking for allow export but it’s not there. See screen shot below:

    Have also tried running MYOB as administrator, no change

    Hi ChrisJR​ , I recommend doing a quick repair of Office, which has been known to resolve issues like this.
