Importing Invoices from Excel

Every month I import our invoices from Excel in a csv file format into MYOB. Been doing it for years on the desktop AccountRight version. For some reason when I get to the fields step there are no fields to choose from and the system crashes.

I tried using the online version but there is no option to import invoices.

Help. I have 104 invoices to be out by tomorrow. Way to many to do individually in MYOB.

Thanks

    Hi CL-12071,

104 invoices is definitely not something anyone would want to enter one by one.

When MYOB AccountRight crashes during an invoice import, it’s often caused by a corrupted cache or a format issue in the import file. A good first step would be to clear your AccountRight cache, as that often fixes odd import behaviour like this. After that, it’s worth checking this importing and exporting tips to make sure the file is lined up properly before trying the import again. You could also try using an import template and dropping your data into that, just to rule out any formatting quirks in the current file.

If it still refuses to play nice after that, the best next step would be to get in touch with the team directly and share the diagnostic log error details with them so they can dig into what’s causing it.

    Cheers,

    Princess
