How do I customise my invoice?

So how do we add the logo and customise?

also would love ongoing invoicing options so I don’t have to manually input succeeding invoice numbers and add line items every time since I invoice the same companies and items lines each week.

also how to change that my company is uno EAP? Because that’s weird and I don’t know how it got that way

thanks!

  • Hi Isabeau !
    Customizing Invoices
Customising and adding your logo to your invoices is as easy as 1, 2, 3!
Just follow these steps, and your invoices should be dazzling in no time.

    1. Go to Money In and tap settings (⚙️).
    2. Tap Invoice settings.
    3. Scroll down to Invoice template to see a preview of your current invoice template.
    4. Tap Logo and colour to add, edit or remove a business logo and choose your brand colour. You can tap Preview template to see how it looks.
    5. Tap Save when you’re happy.

    Invoice Numbers

The succeeding invoices should be updating so we would like to investigate that a little further, could you describe what happens, or doesn't happen, in a bit more detail so we can follow up with the right people?

    Saving Line Items

This is already on our radar and work will start early 2025 to have this implemented, and we will release it as soon as we can!

    Your company is Uno EAP

This is certainly something we need to fix up asap! Is the app showing that your business name is Uno EAP? Could you give us examples of where that is within the app? We will chase this up for you!

    Thanks Isabeau!

Okay, so I've gotten some great tips from some really smart people! The issue lies with the invoice's name; the system is not able to increment it since it ends in letters instead of numbers.

    Example;

SWEM074 would update to SWEM075 on the next invoice.
SW074EM would revert to 00001 as the system cannot register the numbers in the middle of the invoice number.

So, if you are able to, then it might be worth shuffling your naming convention up a bit and keeping the numbers to the end; that way, you won't have to update manually each time.

I hope this helped, but please let me know if there's still anything I can help you with!

So I need to have the numbers at the end of invoices that’s cool but it is sequencing the next number no matter who I invoice. It would be amazing if it could sequence each company/name rather than one total number.

    eg Abc company invoice ab123

then next invoice for abc company would be ab124

    xyw company invoice xy789

    then next invoice xy790

    Hi Isabeau!

Now I see what what you're saying!

I'll absolutely forward this to our design team. I'll also copy this idea over to the "Share your ideas" section here on the forum, so that you and others can vote on it, as that helps us see what's important to our users.
So heads up, you will see a post from you in there shortly.

Thanks! It was easy adding colour and logo my phone was just hiding the update button haha!

also I worked out how to update the business name so no more uno EAP for me yay!

every invoice I create I have to create an invoice number from scratch it says 00001 every time

so I have to input where I’m up to

    eg I use sw074em

next time I create an invoice I have to check what the last number used was and recreate it as it always goes back to the 0001
