how to export recorded expenses and receipt photos saved on solo myob app

Hey michsolo​ welcome to Solo! We're so glad it's working for you! You won't be able to export a photo of your receipts from Solo but if you head to More > Reports > Transaction List you'll be able to export your transaction list from there which gives you a detailed breakdown of all of the money coming in and out of your business

Hey Maggie. Do you think it would be something the myob solo team would consider working into the app? I feel if when exporting your expenses if it was exported into a pdf or excel as a list of each seperate transaction you have made in the financial year with your captured photo of the receipt it would be great.

that way it can be stored on your pc and if something ever goes wrong with the app and you get audited you have the pdf ready to go on your computer instead of having to log into the app to try and show them each individual receipt photo

That’s a really handy idea, I can definitely see why that’d be useful come audit time!

Right now, you can:

• Open each expense and download the photo of the receipt directly from there
• Or, if you’re after a full list, head to Reports → Transaction list → Share → File type: Excel to download all your expenses for the year
  
  

It doesn’t currently include the receipt images in that export, but your suggestion makes a lot of sense. I’ll share it with our product team as feedback for future updates 💡
