MYOB solo

Hi. When I send an invoice with MYOB solo, can I check that the customer has received the invoice and opened it? (As my previous invoice app had this handy feature).

Also, when I send an invoice it is also being sent to my email address. Can I stop this from happening so it is only going to my customer?

Thank you.

  • Hi Adam13 👋

That is a handy feature, so thanks for raising it!

At the moment, Solo doesn’t offer read receipts or a way to confirm whether a customer has opened an invoice. We know how useful that can be (especially when you're chasing payments), so I’ve popped your question into our Share Your Ideas section to make sure it’s on the radar. You can check it out here. I've added my upvote to it because I reckon you're onto something!

And if there are other things you’re missing from your previous invoicing app, we’d love to hear those too!

As for the invoice emails landing in your own inbox: that’s have the app is designed at the moment. Solo sends you a copy so you've got a record of what your customer received.

There’s no setting to switch it off just yet, but if you let us know which email app or service you’re using (like Gmail, Outlook, Apple Mail etc), we can help you set up a rule to automatically move those messages into a folder. The copies of the invoice will be there if you need them, but not cluttering your inbox.

Yes please do get this feature asap. I have just started using Solo for a smaller org I am running and I miss this. It has been handy in Account Right to know when invoices have been viewed.

Hey BRIGITTE we love hearing the types of features that would be handy to our Solmates! Could you tell me a little bit more about how you would like to see this notification? Did you have a suggestion in mind for how this could appear in Solo?
