myob / solo = Adding accountant / Accepting invitation issues

Hi there again ya'll.

I've attempted adding my accountant/firm and they have replied back that they've tried to accept the invitation multiple times with no luck, even though I have received confirmation emails that they have accepted invitation/s

I have now removed the invitation and it now shows pending removal. Would anyone happen to know the time frame this pending deletion is? The reason being, I would like to try to add them again and will be needing to use the same email address. Yes I am aware one can add up to 2 contacts however not with the same email address I have recently learned.

Please also advise regarding myob solo, 

As an accounting firm, are they able to set up & view on PC/Mac or is it only on the phone as myself the user? Could this perhaps be the issue? I have not mentioned this to them.

  • Hey ComeFixit​ so glad to hear that our team was able to resolve things for you.

    For the rest of the community's benefit:

    Your accountant or bookkeeper is sent an invitation to access a secure site where they can view your Solo records (not through the Solo app).  When they accept the invitation, they should be directed right to the secure site. They can also log onto the secure site via myob.com's login menu.

    When you click to remove your accountant or bookkeeper from your Solo system, in addition to removing data access immediately, it triggers a little to-do item for our team. We take care of those requests pronto - but until we do, you'll get the message mentioned by our Solmate here.
