Receiving payments with commission deducted

I receive payments that already have commission deducted from them.  Can anyone tell me how I record these payments so that the full amount is received and the amount of commission is shown as an exp...

Thanks for your question, 

Just to make sure we point you in the right direction, can I check a couple of things first?

Has the payment been made, but the invoice in Solo is still showing as open with just the commission amount remaining?

No. I don't do invoices. My bank account is linked to Solo and I just receipt the payments. Each payment has commission taken out of it before I receive the payment...
