I am experiencing a similar issue, no response at all from MYOB at all. I updated beginning balances but it registers as a zero opening balance in account reports but a much larger figure in the balance sheet at the same time if I backdate the balance sheet to the same date. There are no transactions as it predates my migration from account edge to the new software which is identical to yours.
