MYOB 17 Accounting - an email session cannot be started please check your mapi installation

I have a new computer, everything on MYOB 17 seems to be working apart from one thing, and that is sending an email

May I ask please how I fix the following error

 

"an email session cannot be started, please check your mapi installation"

    It is most likely to do with the MS Office version you have on your system. The old versions only work properly with MS Office 32 Bit installation and your version with a new computer is more likely to be 64 Bit. I'm not sure if Windows 11 allows 32 Bit versions but if it does, then uninstall the current Office version and reinstall the 32 Bit version. You will then need to uninstall and reinstall your MYOB to get it to work.

    If this doesn't work then there are workarounds such as using the Print option and choosing Microsoft Print to PDF as your Printer, and saving the pdf that can then be attached to an email. Similarly, you can "Send to" PDF from within Invoices or Reports and save these so you can attach these to an email.
