Make two columns default in coding screens

Please make two columns the default in the bank transaction screen, and make the option to change it to one column if someone wishes to view it that way. The vast majority of people will want 2 columns (as it was) so that should be the default.

The current option to switch to 2 columns broken!

When you turn on 2 column view and switch from unallocated transactions to coded transactions, the 2 column default view is lost. 2 columns aren't displayed in the coded transactions screen and when you go back to unallocated transactions it's reverted back to single column. You then have to go and turn on the 2 column option again.

Who tests these things???

Interestingly, in the pop up box where you turn on the 2 column view, the link that asks what other options we would like to see doesn't work. That clearly wasn't tested either or MYOB aren't interested in actually implementing what users actually want. Based on how the development has been happening over the past months, both things appear to be true!

Number on on the list of improvements though would be stop hiding AI coded transactions. They arent correct and need to be confirmed. The method of ticking to confirm them worked very well and helped ensure quality of coded data.

We cant recommend MYOB to clients when the coding screens are as bad as they are now.

    Hi WayneC

I can see you have tried using the new layout and update for yourself. Thanks for raising this and for taking the time to share the how you feel about the change.

For changes like the two-column default or other layout updates, the best place to add that feedback is the Ideas Exchange board. That gives the product team one place to track suggestions and gauge interest from other customers as well.
