Good that a User can turn off Automatic Matching.
Xero was talking about Automatic Bank Reconciliation at Xerocon yesterday (and the ability to turn it off).
Quick and Easy for the User.
Will the standard of information within the MYOB file improve?
The Checks and Balances in preparing Financials/BAS/Tax Return will need to change if Users leave Automatic Matching on.
Can the format of the Journal Entry Report be improved?
It is lacking in detail - the format of the old Session Report could be used.

Hi DuncanS,
Thanks for sharing your feedback and questions. Having the option to turn off automatic matching gives you more control over your bank reconciliations, and we’re keen to keep things simple and straightforward in MYOB so it suits the way you work. We’re continually working to enhance data quality within the MYOB file for more reliable, detailed records. When automatic matching is used, it's recommended updating your checks and review procedures for BAS, tax returns, and financial statements to help maintain compliance and accuracy. Lastly, your suggestion for a more detailed Journal Entry Report's a top one. It's best to post it on our MYOB Business Ideas Exchange board so it gets shared with our team for future improvements.
Cheers,
Doreen
