I don't know who accepted Mike's advice as the solution, because it's absolutely not the solution to this post - it was the solution to a workaround.
The core issue still exists, and that is the fact that the export options available in MYOB are severely lacking and to be completely honest, terrible for any business owner who needs to legally keep business records for tax reasons.

Really appreciate you taking the time to call this out. We’ve taken the “solution” marker from the previous reply. We hear you, having an export feature that simply works is a game-changer, and it’s something many of our MYOB users would benefit from. If you pop your suggestion onto our Ideas Board, it’s where our product team looks for feature requests. Plus, the MYOB community can get behind it through voting or comments, giving it even more attention and momentum.
