pay super user setting

Hi Team,

We are having MYOB Business pro and going to set up Pay super users and new Banking access MYOB users. We are having a secretary who needs to be the pay super authoriser but should not be granted MYOB access other than banking information. He has not been assigned as the user of the MYOB yet.

Our questions are:

1. If we invite and assign him as the MYOB Banking access user, with roles and permissions to banking access only, will he be able to be added as Pay super authoriser?

2. For the MYOB Banking access user, will he be able to view and edit the entries other than the banking section?

Thanks.

Kind regards,

Crystal

  • Hi mqcrystal,

Thank you for your post. MYOB Banking access users are primarily focused on banking-related tasks. Banking users are able to see all bank feeds, including payroll transactions. However, the specific permissions and roles might vary depending on the settings configured by the business.

On the other hand, a user can't be added as a Pay Super Authoriser if they aren't invited as a File Administrator. I recommend checking out these helpful articles about how to manage user access and adding a Pay Super Authoriser for more detailed information and instructions.

      Hi Shella

      Thanks for your reply.

Could I ask who can be the pay super creator? Can MYOB Banking access user be the pay super creator?

Also, is any user level we can set under business pro be the read only user who only can view the accounts but not be able to edit?

      Kind regards,

      Crystal

        Hi mqcrystal,

Thank you for the response. The pay super creator should be the business owner. Set up Pay Super (myob.com) has detailed information to assist you with this.

In regard to setting up a user as a read only user, that feature is not yet available in MYOB Business.
