For your first question, only the owner and administrator of the file can create PAY SUPER transactions.
Regarding your second question, yes, you can set up a read-only user in AccountRight. To do this, follow these steps:
- Go to Setup > User Access.
- Select the user's ID from the list on the left-hand side.
- Tick the "Read Only" option on the right-hand side.
If the "Read Only" option is greyed out, it means that you cannot make a user with an Administrator role read-only. In such cases, follow these additional steps:
- Untick the "Administrator" role.
- Select another user role (e.g., Accountant/Bookkeeper).
- Click "Save."
After making these changes, you should be able to set that user as read-only.
