Base Hourly pay item

Hi, just started using payroll and the base hourly pay item has ETP locked in and I can’t change it so it thinks I’m terminating employees when I go to Dona papyrus and wants an etp code.   how do ...

Thanks for your reply.

I haven't processed any as yet I just need to know how to change the category as it won't allow me to change from ETP so it wants to terminate every employee rather than be a gross payment.

I am having the exact same issue. I cannot change or delete the payroll category either so that doesn't help. I created a new base hourly but it just keeps reverting to the one linked to ETP.
