In accounting, journal entries are used to record various transactions, including cash inflows and outflows. Therefore, when generating a cash movement report, MYOB includes journal entries to offer a comprehensive overview of all transactions affecting cash, not limited to direct cash transactions such as receipts and payments. This inclusion contributes to providing a more accurate depiction of your overall cash position and movements within the specified period.
