Hi Queenbeemay,
Sounds like your general ledger is out of balance because of that transaction you mentioned. That usually happens when there’s a transaction sitting in the bank account in your ledger that never actually went through the bank.
Here’s a quick way to sort it out in MYOB Business:
- Go to Reporting > Accounting > General ledger (or General ledger details).
- Filter to just that bank account and the problem dates.
- Compare it to your bank statement and find anything that’s in the report but not on the statement.
For that transaction:
- If it’s not reconciled, open it and edit or delete it.
- If it has been reconciled:
- Go to Banking > Reconcile accounts.
- Choose the bank account and click Undo last reconciliation.
- Fix or delete the transaction.
- Then re‑reconcile using your bank statement.
That should bring your general ledger back in line with the bank. If you’re still having issues after comparing and fixing those transactions, I recommend reaching out to our support team so they can take a deeper look. You can do this by creating a ticket in My Account or by connecting with our live chat team through MOCA, our virtual assistant.
