General Journal Line Description on General Ledger Report

I am using MYOB Business Lite.  How do I get the line description for each entry in a General Journal to display when I run a General Ledger Report.  When I select Line Description in the customise report nothing displays when I refresh the report.

    Thanks for highlighting the problem that a journal entry line description is not showing on the General Ledger Report. I will report this to the development team.
    Work around is to use spend money or receive money for the transaction.

    Hi
    There is a transaction description and line description
    the line description is within the transaction, see below pink line.

      Hi

      I have entered the description (the area you have highlighted in pink) when I input a General Journal.  My question is how do I get this line description to print out when I run a General Ledger Report.

    Run the General Ledger report, select customize, select add columns below and find line description
    Save report as a Custom Report

    I have done this, however while the line description column on the customised report has the heading "Line Description", all the fields in that column are blank.  When I run a Journal Entry Report and customise by selecting the line description the fields display correctly.

      Thank you.  Could you please ask that this fix be actioned asap as I have already entered 3 months data and need to run off reports.

        Good morning,  I note that the journal entry line description is still not showing on the General Ledger Report.  is it possible to get an update on when this is likely to be fixed?  Thank you.
