Sorry to hear you've been getting stuck in a bit of a loop trying to report it. Just to rule out anything browser-related first, could you try giving your browser cache a quick clear and then jump back into the custom report to see if it behaves? It's also worth trying a different browser or even another device if you have one handy, just to see if the date range still shows July-June when selecting "Last Financial Year."

Hi Sai, thank you for your response. Cleared Cache in Chrome no difference, used Edge Browser same issue. Entered problem in MYaccount, no reply. That appears to be going round in circles. We did update from Account Basic to Business Lite last March and I thought updating the financial year to Jan 26- Dec 26 might solve the issue.
Hi Sai, an update. I had old phone number for MYOB and serial number was incorrect. Spoke to support today and issue has been referred to developers. Thank You
