I am having the same issue. This is not helpful and the BAS is due. If I click 'no thanks' to accepting the 3rd party it takes me to a page that is not found and am then thrown out of MYOB. Where do we go from here please?

Hi Isaiah_C This message has NEVER come up for us before, we always just went into this dashboard and lodged the statements without issue. Has this bit of the application been updated to use a 3rd party application, instead of an inbuilt feature? People are concerned because of the change of behaviour and rightly so with all the Cyber security risks out there today. If this is a change to the application, people should have been notified that this would happen and that they would need to approve access to something they have always just used.

I'm also getting this message and there is no way I am authorising any 3rd party to access my MYOB account, especially with the permissions it is seeking for Auskey. We already lost all our employee tax data in a breach about 5 years ago because MYOB were hacked. This is not acceptable MYOB and neither is your lack of response to this thread. You need to respond and you need to fix this otherwise we have no option but to go back to lodging directly with ATO.. giving us one less reason to use your product. This should be a one way portal, MYOB sends information to ATO and no backwards access and it shouldn't be going through a 3rd party, where you have no capacity to monitor or protect the data.
I am having the same issue as soho-99 and michalisholding and can't get past this third party offer and into MYOB.
Is the patch that MYOB has released something that will be applied automatically?

thankyou for responding its very difficult to get to speak to anyone from MYOB anymore you used to be able to just call in - i am however having trouble understanding your answer
- we don't use explorer have not for years
- what 3rd party app are you referring to we have not changed anything
- what happened from Friday to Monday just gone for it to change
- what patch are you talking about? and why wasn't this sent out to MYOB users if there was an issue so we could prevent this from happening. its very inconvenient that this has happened just before everyone is due to lodge PAYG and monthly BAS im sure you can understand with all the fraud going around these days we are very hesitant to allow anything access to our MYOB accounts can you please elaborate on how to move forward as this seems to be a MYOB issue not a user issue

We have had the same notice/permission request pop up. We clicked yes/allow and are able to lodge our BAS now but are left wondering what the implications are?
Is MYOB Tax Dashboard the third party? and not actually a part of MYOB?
I don't think there is necessarily a problem here but the wording on the notice has clearly confused a lot of users so some clarity or extra explanation would be very welcome.

oh so you just accepted the 3rd party access? that is my concern is what are we allowing by saying "yes" we have tried to call MYOB and they simply dont return phone calls - pretty poor for such a big software application

than kyou for your response - can you explain why the message is coming up in the 10+ years of MYOB use its never happened before - as per the below responses this is a new thing that has popped up for many of us out of the blue - never popped up before and we dont understand why its popping up now - MYOB has offered no explanation to this and your just telling us to just accept it and allow 3rd part access to this platform
why wasnt a response put out from MYOB before this happened to warn us so we knew it was ok - surely you can see our concerns with a random approval request popping upwith so much cyber theft going around we are only trying to be vigilant with protecting our data and files
simply saying " its fine just accept it MYOB will protect you" is not a response at all in my opinion
why is auskey even trying to get access - your forums clearly state in 2020 that auskey was retired and superseded how come its coming back?
Also having the same issue, cannot progress pass this, and we are unable to lodge the BAS which is due very shortly. 'MYOB Tax Dashboard is requesting permission to access your MYOB Account. '
