Backdating makes the update a bit trickier, but here’s the simple path.
- To bump annual leave to 5 weeks: go Employee > Modify Employee Details > Leave > Holiday Pay, change Calculation Method to Annual Leave Entitlement (or Annual Leave Custom), set weeks to 5, and make sure Days worked each week matches their current pattern. From there, leave will accrue at 5 weeks per year.
- To backdate the change: work out the extra leave they would’ve built up from your chosen effective date to today, then add that as a one‑off leave adjustment for each employee.
