Payroll

Having issues recording payroll today. Processing pays as normal, allows to save and close and then come back. However when proceeding to record, takes a long time and it times out so you retry eventually when you think it has gone through it skips the stage to report to ATO and goes straight to last page with nil values and all pays processed are lost?

Is there an issue with MYOB? Thanks

  • It is happening to our payruns as well. Was there any reason that they told you that we could try and fix? Ours has duplicated the entire payrun.

Thankyou. I think it's going to be a phone call. It timed out on the process payroll part. It then asked if we wanted to retry. Hit retry which created the duplicate.  Next payrun when it happened i hit cancel and one payrun has come through. Nothing to file at STP though.

I rang payroll they are aware of issue and working on it, they were able to fix mine so if you have 40min to sit on hold they can resolve over the phone.

No they didn't they just said that it was related to the start of a new financial year and that they were aware of the issue and were working on a fix, it was something that they did from their end to fix the file, they just needed my file ID and once they did something from their end, I went in and did one pay which went through and all the ones that disappeared - reappeared, I only had a duplicate of the one I re-did, which I then was able to delete as I hadn't submitted to the ATO.

If all of your pays have been duplicated, must mean you went in and re-did them again.

If working ok this morning must mean the fix has gone through, but you will need to either delete duplicates if you haven't submitted to ATO or reverse.
