Payroll - creating new employee

Would MYOB please immediately pop back in the "manually enter details" which has literally disappeared over the last few hours from the create new employee card. We do not wish to use your employee onboarding. Whoever thought it was a good idea to remove in the first place?

    I totally get how annoying it is when you're all set to add a new employee and the "manually enter details" button decides to do a little disappearing act. Sorry about the hassle! We've rolled out an update recently, and because of that, some users won't see that option straight away. The good news? You can absolutely bring it back by opting out of employee onboarding.

     

    If you're on the desktop version, head over to: Set up > General Payroll Information. You'll find the setting there.

     

     

    If you're using the browser version, head to: Payroll Settings > General Payroll Information. Same settings lives there too.

     

     

    Once you set it to "Optional, ask me every time," the manual entry option should reappear without any fuss. Here's the help article as well, in case you want the full rundown. Employee self-onboarding.
