Estimated annual leave accrued since anniversary

One of our staff needed to carry out a final pay, and payment of the Annual Leave Available has been done at that time. But he had ever asked why the days of Estimated annual leave accrued since anniversay not been paid together. As we knew that was the estimated leave accrued days, but he did not know. Therefore, can someone explain why or may I know that's the etimated leave accrued days whether if it has been counted into the Annual Leave payment together as well? Or the days of annual leave accrued just for the staff's information and shows he/she's annual leave entitlement that can be taken after he/she's anniversary year. Thanks so much.

    Hi Carrie001

Estimate annual leave is generally accrued leave - so leave accrued since the last anniversary date - and therefore technically not due yet. When someone leaves, the system pays out any actual annual leave owing plus 8% of earnings since the last anniversary which is effectively the accrued leave - which is now a $ value and not estimated hours.

    • Hi Jennie,

Got it and very appreciated for your explanation.

      Thanks so much.
