I have finally had a reply from the sales person and she tells me however  MYOB Business does not have the option to report on jobs/departments.

    Back to square one.

    Hi Earl

No, that doesn't really help at all.

Is there a link to a full in depth demo where no signing up is necessary?

The first link won't let me sign in or up and is something about Highspot and to contact admin.  I am admin and have no idea what it is.

The second one wants me to sign up to Gong, but I presume it's just a demo the same as I have found doing a google search and doesn't answer my question.

On our current desktop payroll we enter  the timesheets and use the Department and Cost Centre which matches our Job Number in Accountright - so I can get an accurate report of all costs related to each job.

How does this work on Business Payroll, as the demo shows that just the amount of hours can be adjusted.

I'm really struggling with this and just need some easy to understand explanation please.

    Hi ATL001,

MYOB Business Payroll Only does not support manually entering timesheets. The MYOB Team app is currently the only way to track time and process timesheets.

For a full tutorial on MYOB Business Payroll, you can check these resources:

    1. MYOB Business Payroll NZ: This resource appears to provide an overview of MYOB Business Payroll for New Zealand. You can access it at Getting started with MYOB Business Payroll NZ
    2. MYOB Business Payroll Demonstration: This includes details about the product's features and functionality tailored for small New Zealand businesses. Access it at MYOB Business Payroll Demonstration.
    3. MYOB Business Payroll Only - NZ (Documentation): This contains detailed product descriptions, pricing, and features such as Single Touch Payroll (STP) reporting, automated calculations, and mobile accessibility specific to New Zealand. The link is MYOB Business Payroll Only - NZ.

    I hope this helps!

    Regards,
    Earl

Hopefully someone will reply with the relevant info.  I'm sure I'll have more questions along the line too.

Hi. I also left my details two weeks ago when I created this thread. But nobody has contacted me either...

We currently use the desktop Payroll and are looking at moving to Business Payroll Only.

I have emailed the MYOB person that rang about changing but have had not reply, and I have googled and watched Youtube tutorials but can't find the answer to my questions, which is  -

Is there the option of still entering Timesheets manually?  The Teams App is not something we can see working for our staff.  We have nearly 30 staff and they are often on a number of different jobs each week, and sometimes travel to a job which is on a different pay rate.  We still need all this information to be imported to Accountright after each pay.

Can you post a link to a full tutorial of Business Payroll please.

    Hi Phil_mtc,

As of now, MYOB is sticking to cloud-based payroll packages. Our current and future focus is on cloud-based solutions due to the advantages they provide, such as better connectivity, continual updates, and compliance with regulations.

    Cheers,

    MYOB

Will you offer a non-cloud based payroll package at all or for a standalone payroll setup we now have to look elsewhere ?  Just curious as all of your current offerings seem to be cloud only.
