Hi leibholdqpbc,
Thanks for raising this. I can see why that’d be annoying, especially when some forwarded emails come through and others don’t.
From what we’re seeing, In Tray works more reliably when the document is sent as a direct email attachment to the file’s unique In Tray address, instead of being auto-forwarded through another mailbox. A good workaround for now is to send the PDF as a new email, or drag and drop it straight into In Tray in the browser.
It’s also worth double-checking that you’re using the current In Tray email address, as generating a new one switches the old one off. You can also visit these help pages for more information:

We have a couple of suppliers that happens to - we remove any signatures, and anything in the body of forwarded email, plus the subject - and it seems to work fine - so something in the forwarded email stops it.

be annoying? It is a failure of your system to handle headers in email.
We have suppliers who email invoices.
This goes to an email address - eg invoices
This forwards to the stupidly complex email address for the myob inbox
So via
rules
forwards
doesnt work
Not useful, not working, a failure - leibholdqpbc1 month agoTrusted User
The emails SHOULD not need this
