hello, I am wanting to pull up a report of old and new invoices with a specific name that is mentioned in the invoice. is there away that this can be done please? thabk you team

I was not successful, is there a field where I can search "description" ?
in the invoice the name I am trying to filter is in the description and I am struggling with this.

you can customise the report to show the journal description

What i am trying to do is to filter out a specific name of somebody from the description section of the invoice.
eg: John Smith is used very commonly in our descriptions, so i am trying to filter all the invoices that have

try this
go to reports
bank transactions
select the dates you want
in customise , down the bottom is an empty box with a dropdown box
select name
payee
apply
refresh report
you then need to export to see the additional fields
