No it does not, I understand completely how it works now that MYOB takes their fee from every transaction.
It is the discrepancy in the dates that is the issue - and I have no way of overriding it myself so that is is accurate.
Please reread my example above - the deposit should appear on the 31st October to match my statement but it wasn't recorded by MYOB until 2nd November. I have attached photos of a) my Bank statement and b) the Deposit as recorded automatically by MYOB
Hi Edwina , sorry for not correctly understanding the question.
The team have confirmed that editing the transaction is possible, but there are a lot of steps involved.
The best thing to do would be to create a journal entry.

Mike,
This issue has occurred multiple times over the month; i pay a fortune to MYOB for the service and this discrepancy is a relatively new issue. I will not be doing journal entries all month for online payments.
I would like to escalate this issue and I do wonder why as ACCOUNTING software that MYOB does not see this as an issue??

Hi Edwina, I can definitely understand where you are coming from.
The best thing to do here is get in touch directly with our financial services support team, they will be able to take a proper look at your specific situation and either get this fixed up or provide a path for raising it as a concern with developers.
Please log in to myacount.myob.com and click 'contact support' to create a case with the team.- Edwina1 month agoExperienced Cover User
I've just spoken to the Financial Services department who advise me that this is a known issue that they don't know when it will be rectified. And my 'work around' is to turn off MYOB payments.
I have been with MYOB for 20 years and the level of frustration with this company is at an all time high right now.
