Unable to convert order to bill

Morning, we are unable to convert existing purchase order with receipted goods into a bill. Every time we try to do this MYOB times out and crashes. Have tried to load as a completely new and separate bill which does the same thing. Wondering if there is a bug with the actual item we are receipting in. Can you please offer any suggestions.

    Hi Hi_Ursula,

I'm sorry to hear MYOB is timing out when you try to convert the purchase order to a bill. This can sometimes occur in AccountRight when an item’s on-hand quantity is between 0 and 1, so it may be related to the receipted item rather than the purchase order itself. As a workaround, you can try recording an inventory adjustment to increase the item’s on-hand quantity above 1, then restart AccountRight and try converting the order again. You can also try clearing the AccountRight cache before attempting the conversion again. If that doesn’t help, manually recreating the bill may be necessary.

If the issue continues, reach out to our live chat support through our virtual assistant, MOCA, or submit a case via My Account so we can investigate further.

    Regards,

    Sai

Hi - just came across this. Hopefully you’ve managed to get it sorted.

If purchasing and inventory in MYOB is becoming a bit of a pain generally, it might be worth having a look at Tall Emu. Full disclosure, I work there!

We’re Australian business software that integrates with MYOB and handles the operational side - inventory, purchasing, orders, warehouse, CRM etc - while MYOB stays as your accounting system.

Might be worth a look if these sorts of workarounds are becoming a regular thing or if you need something more than just MYOB to run your operations.
