Since July, I have been trying to create a new SMSF and it keeps telling me that I don't have the rights/authority to do so. I am the only user and main Admin across MYOB so I don't know why this is happening and how to solve it.

Thanks for getting in touch. Waiting that long to get an SMSF sorted is definitely a pain.
On top of being the File Owner or Online Admin, you need Pay Super configured and STP active (plus at least one payroll run accepted by the ATO). For more details, check out this guide.
