MYOB AccountRight is not able to report pay to ATO

Hi,

 

This issue started about four weeks ago, still not fixed.

 

Looks after processing pay MYOB can't generate the file to report to ATO. The message asks to report it later however when going to payroll reporting the pay processed is not in the list to report and today is shows something went wrong.

 

I think it is not only me having the issue. Had our IT to look into the error message from the system looks MYOB is using some kind of free license and it is expired now which might stop the system to generate report. I am not technical so please have your level 3 technician to look into the error messages and find the solution. After a long waiting queue MYOB helpdesk has totally no idea about this and they offered meaningless advices which make things worst and totally unhelpful.

 

It has been more than 4 weeks now. The longer the issue stays the more difficult for us to fix the reporting to ATO in the future.

    Yes its not just you, even I have been left to wonder for last almost 5 weeks.

    Infact got happy when it prompted me to upgrade to 2022.9 and I thought to myself that this would solve the issue for all, but again was disappointed.

    Hoping for this to get addressed ASAP.

  • I'm having the same issue.  Today I used the web browser to access MYOB and it let me send the payroll report to the ATO.  I'm waiting to hear on a fix but just thought I'd share a work around.

      I can see there are others having a similar issue i.e. MYOB is giving an error message when trying to report payroll to the ATO.  I'm currently using Windows Server 2012R2.  I've just jumped on to MYOB via a browser and it looks like the Payroll Reporting worked however that's not ideal to have to do that going forward.

       

      Can someone let me know how to fix?

  • I am having the same problem and tried to call the helpline and after being on hold for more than 45 minutes each time was told it was now after hours and to call the next day. It has been 5 weeks now that I am unable to upload the pays.

      Hi Marvian Invenio MartiB and SanjayPandit 

       

      Our teams' investigations into that error indicate it is caused by out-of-date Windows versions and security certificates. To confirm if this is causing your issue check the diagnostic log for the following error:

       

      System.Net.Http.HttpRequestException: An error occurred while sending the request. ---> System.Net.WebException: The request was aborted: Could not create SSL/TLS secure channel.

       

      If the diagnostic log shows that error make sure Windows and security updates are completed. You can also try putting your company file online to report STP.

       

      Other users have reported they received that error if running Windows 8.1 or Server 2012 R2. Updating to Windows 10 resolved the error.

       

      If the diagnostic log contains a different error please provide a screenshot of that log so I can assist further.

        Hi Tracey,

         

        Below error message occourred when I tried to delete a pay. We are running Windows 10 Pro with all updates up to date. About 5 weeks ago we couldn't report pay to ATO and couldn't delete pay as we used to be able to.

         

        With the issue unable to report to ATO the system only prompts that the system can't report to ATO and asks to do it later. However when going to payroll reporting later all pays processed in the system are not showing in the list to report to ATO.

         

        Please look into the issue urgently as I am not the only user facing this issue. Thanks.
