Overpayment payroll yr already closed

Hi,   I just found out i paid a casual employee for a shift when she didnt work (mix up with timesheets). It was in May and i have closed off the payroll year. I did back up before closing the payr...

    HI Jnet 

     

    I’d recommend asking your accountant this question, as they will be the most familiar with your account list they will be able to advise you on which account to use to record this overpayment being returned to you

Thanks Neil,

 

I ended up doing that and i have amended everything in the back up. 

Just wondering about the money i recieve from the employee... Which account would i allocated it to?
