Payroll categories & timesheets

I have created a payroll category in Command Centre - payroll - payroll categories but can not select this category in timesheets.   Why??

    Can you please also check if the relevant payroll category has been assigned to the employees for whom you are entering timesheets ?

    Please check if the payroll categories are set to hourly as only hourly payroll categories can be selected in timesheets.

      The payroll category is selected as hourly & have it as Fixed Hourly rate .   I am trying to get Annual Leave without pay onto the timesheets but I cannot see it to select on timesheets.    I need this information to show on pasyslips & payroll reports for tracking purposes.
