Change from Detail to Header Account

Has anyone had any issues changing there accounts from Detail to Header Account? It keeps coming up with the error that an account with Journal entries agaisnt it can't be a Header. I have checked an...

Hi Michelle112 

 

I have come across this before, and I assumed it was historical entries against the account.

 

As a work around, I re-numbered the detail account and created a new header account with the preferred number.
