Use of Cost Centres & Jobs

Hi,

 

New to MYOB AR , and looking to extract as much functionality form it as possible.

 

It is possible to do a general journal entry in MYOB and have a separate Cost Centre with a separate Job no. on each line ?

  • This is an simple example of what I want to achieve - the ability to have a Cost Centre Code per each line, and also a Job No. per line as well.

    Is this possible ?

    Hi Etannous,

     

    There was an answer to that question. You can include jobs on all your transactions, from sales to purchases. There’s a handy support guide on jobs, projects, and how to set them up. Super useful if you want to keep things organised and tidy.

    In reading this response I'm seeing that only one half of the question has been answered.  The jobs can be added but can cost centres and jobs be added on a transaction at the same time?  

     

    The link provided mentions nothing of setting up MYOB forms for entry of cost centres and jobs together. 

     

    I would take this one step further and add what about locations? 

     

    this would give me three segments in which to track and review costs, Cost centre (Dept), Job (Project) and Location (Physical site) 

    How does MYOB Account Right handle this?
