Inventory: Ability to edit directly from the Item List window (without opening item)

It would be great to have the ability to edit certain fields in the Item List view. For example, a group of products may have a simple code, description or vendor change.  The ability to make changes in the list and "copy down" if required would be great - rather than having to go into each individual card.
