Our sales team like to search items by desription, but in accounts entering the bills it is easier by product code. Why can it be by either not one or the other?

Thank you for your post. I understand that you wanted to have this option to be available. However, in entering sales and purchases, we only have option to choose the item code and the description of that item appears automatically.

Searching by either item number or name within a sale, purchase order, bill etc would very handy, rather than opening another list.
