Sorry to hear that hasn't worked for you. So I can take a look into this further, are you able to confirm if you're using a local computer or is the file stored on a server ?

As indicated in the subject line, this file is online (hosted by MYOB), not on a local computer.
This is becoming urgent as users are now seeing the incorrect filename (as opposed to the correct company name) in AccountRight recent items.
The South African call centre has failed to resolve the issue and refuses to escalate to an Australian technician. (By the way I am now on hold again for the call centre with an estimated wait time of 80 minutes and I know when I get through they will have no idea how to fix it and again fail to resolve it. MYOB needs to address this general issue with their client support services.)
Please discuss with an Australian technician as a matter of urgency.

PS: please also read this full thread so we don't have to revert to basics like "is the file online" which has been clairified since the beginning. A lot of troubleshooting and attempted fixes have already been tried so please also refamilarise yourself with what's been done. Next step is an Australian technician who has technical knowledge and actual access to the file system!

So we can take a look into this further can you send a screenshot via private message of the file name within the online company file, a screenshot of the Recently opened company files list and your product serial number.
