We ran through a dummy employee onboarding setup with the employee benefits un-ticked. Although we have encouraged new employees to use the onboarding process we are now seriously re-considering that policy. Even without the employee benefits on the approach is pushy, requires the employee to give consent to Flare's privacy policy and still has advertising. Employees at the super screen are first faced with an agreement, including privacy policy, that they need to agree to in order to continue (by clicking "continue"). On the next screen the most prominent view is promotion of two super funds. A small link says "skip featured funds". If the employee manages to navigate that then there is another push to purchase life insurance.
Would really like to be able to change the wording on the "welcome" emails. They are very much not the way we want to project ourselves as an employer. Have also found that deleting the employee card (as this was a dummy run anyway) has not cancelled the onboarding invitation so there are constant reminder emails and texts.
