Increase character limits on Descriptions column

I desperately need to include Descriptions (services and products) that exceed the 255 character limit currently imposed.  I've read and heard from many other users finding this limitation unacceptable, as do I, as the current workaround (instead of using basic automation) is to copy paste the full Description from an external spreadsheet every time we (they) generate an invoice with those greater Description lengths required.  Seem's a ludicrous LIMITATION for myself, the approx 35 MYOB users / business owners I know personally, AND from what I've experienced on forums and through videos I've watched online.
