In MYOB Business, when selecting a recurring transaction to prefill, only the first 18 characters of the transaction name are displayed - the rest are truncated with “...”.
It would be really helpful if MYOB could widen this selection window (or allow the column to expand) to display more characters - even doubling it to around 36 characters would make a big difference.
I’ve set up my recurring transactions using a naming convention with a preceding category, for example:
Commission: [Client Name]
Retainers: [Client Name]
Expense: [Type of Expense]
Income: [Type of Income]
This makes recurring transactions easier to locate, especially since there’s currently no search function. However, with the current character limit, it’s difficult to distinguish between similarly named transactions.
